This project aims to improve the safety of the apartment building located at 26 Bicchieraia Street, Montemurlo (PO), making it more resistant to earthquakes. Thanks to the 110% Superbonus, a tax break provided by the government, we can carry out these interventions with significant financial savings.
Current status
The building has an “L” shape and includes two floors above ground level, an attic, a cellar, and a basement. The walls are made of stone and are about 50 cm thick. The total area of the building is 826.4 m², of which 77% is for housing, making it eligible for the 110% Superbonus.
Planned Interventions
- Foundation Reinforcement: Concrete curbs will be installed around the foundations to strengthen the existing structure and improve earthquake resistance.
- Ground Floor Replacement: The existing floor slab will be replaced with a new one that allows better ventilation and safer structural behavior in earthquakes.
- Photovoltaic Panels: Solar panels will be installed on the roof for each apartment, generating clean energy and reducing electricity bills.
- Energy Storage Systems: Each apartment will have a battery system to store the energy produced by the solar panels.
- Roof Safety Systems: Fall protection systems will be installed to ensure safety during roof maintenance work.
