The project proposal arises from the need to expand and enhance the spaces dedicated to audiovisual production, offering the company a high-performance, efficient, and technologically advanced work environment.

Project Objectives

The intervention involves the integration of existing environments with an adjacent property unit, creating a direct connection between two building sections and redesigning the internal layout according to the client’s specific needs.

New Spaces for Audiovisual Creativity

From an architectural and functional perspective, the new configuration will host:

  • four sound stages with a total area of approximately 650 m², optimized for various production needs;
  • a large technical storage area with a mezzanine portion of about 280 m², designed to ensure maximum storage flexibility;
  • new sanitary facilities to support activities and personnel.

The spaces have been designed to ensure efficiency, comfort, and visual identity, with clear pathways, industrial materials, and essential geometries that highlight the productive character of the complex.

Lightweight Structures, High Performance

The intervention also includes the construction of two metal frame structures:

  • the first structure is intended for the creation of the mezzanine with a corresponding steel staircase;
  • the second structure is functional for the installation of walls that separate the stages from the central corridor, precisely defining the new internal spatiality.

A Clean and Technical Architectural Language that Reflects the Productive Identity of the Space.

On the plant engineering level, the project integrates state-of-the-art air conditioning technologies.

A VRV heat pump system composed of two external heat pump units, with a nominal heating power of 56kW and a nominal cooling power of 56 kW, and high static pressure ducted indoor units serving the stages. The system integrates two ventilation units with 2000 m³/h heat recovery, ensuring high energy efficiency and uniform air distribution.

A second VRV system, dedicated to ventilation and primary air treatment, ensures constant quality and healthiness of the environments, with an external heat pump unit of 28 kW and three direct expansion coils, supported by three heat recovery units of 2000 m³/h.

For the three-dimensional survey of the building, the Leica BLK360 G2 Laser Scanner was used, characterized by high precision and rapid acquisition.

The instrument allowed for obtaining a high-density point cloud, useful for generating accurate digital models of the structure, ensuring high metric quality and excellent geometric representation of the surveyed surfaces.

The use of integrated LiDAR technology enabled automatic registration of scans and complete three-dimensional reconstruction, reducing survey times and potential operational errors.

The intervention delivers a technological, efficient, and sustainable environment, designed to accommodate new forms of audiovisual production.

A space where architecture, engineering, and innovation interact in perfect harmony, creating a dynamic and identity-rich place, ready to inspire new creative visions.
